Making money, scored like the game it is. Something wrong, or something missing? Write to me and a person will read it.

Include your iPhone model and the app version, which is at the bottom of the Settings screen. Please don't send screenshots of anything you'd rather keep private; I can't see your ledger and I don't want to.

Where is my data?

On your iPhone, and nowhere else. GoldPouch has no account, no server and makes no network connection of its own. That also means nobody, including me, can recover your ledger for you if the app is deleted. Export a copy from Settings if it matters to you.

I paid for Pro and it isn't unlocked

Open Settings in the app and tap "Restore purchases". That asks the App Store what this Apple Account owns. If it still isn't open, check that you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, then email me.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple, not by me. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then GoldPouch. Cancelling there stops the next renewal. The Lifetime purchase is a single payment and never renews.

Refunds are Apple's too: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Why did my gold not go up?

Gold is made from profit, not from money arriving. Costs attached to a stream come off it, and each stream is floored at zero, so a stream still in the red makes no gold until it is ahead. Pending payouts make no gold until you mark them landed. Hours never turn into gold: they feed your hourly rate instead.

If it is your holdings that went down, that is spending. A personal cost takes gold out of your pouch at ten gold to the pound. Your lifetime gold and your level are never touched by it.

Holdings, pouch, savings, lifetime

Holdings is the gold you have now. It splits into your pouch, which is free to spend, and your savings, the share of profit your chest locks away. Spending empties the pouch before it ever touches savings. Lifetime gold is every gold you have ever minted, and it only goes up.

Can I lose a level?

No. Lifetime gold is a high-water mark, so once it is earned your level and rank can't fall. A bad month slows the climb but never undoes it. The only thing that resets it is "Erase everything" in Settings, which wipes the whole ledger and cannot be undone.

Getting my data out

Settings has Export CSV and Export JSON. Both contain everything: streams, assets, income, costs, hours and signals. No part of the export is behind Pro.

Something is broken, or a number looks wrong

Tell me what you expected and what you saw, with the figures if you can. A wrong number in a money app is the most serious kind of bug here and gets looked at first.
